With a hundred-acres education city coming up at Sarangpur, the UT Administration has received at least 25 applications from various reputed institutions wanting to open their branches here. Topping the list are institutions and deemed universities such Amity, Thapar and All India Management of DAVs, besides certain foreign institutions and universities. The administration plans to allot land to institutions imparting high-end
courses and training. The education city will have world class institutions, auditorium and facilities pertaining to sports and health.
