Nigeria: Countrys Education Policy Impacts Africa - ACDE
Nigerias uncompromising role in contributing to the educational development of the African continent resurfaced yesterday, when the African Council for Distance Education (ACDE), the umbrella body regulating distance eduaction across the continent, commended the Federal Governments stance in ensuring that the menace of illiteracy is addressed.
Disclosing this in Lagos, during ACDE fact-finding visit ahead of the Second ACDE conference, Dr Fred Barasa said there was no way issues concerning distance education could be raised without a mention of Nigerias role in advancing the cause of education in Africa.
