Northwestern Foundation presents scholarship bill
Several representatives from NWOSU attended Mondays City Council meeting to thank the council for its support of the university and present the scholarship billing.
NWOSU President Dr. Janet Cunningham, Northwestern Foundation Executive Director Skeeter Bird, Northwestern Executive Vice President Dr. Steve Lohmann, Vice President for Administration David Pecha and Dean of Student Affairs and Enrollment Management Brad Franz represented the university.
The Northwestern Foundation submitted a bill totaling $145,688.26 for scholarships. The amount paid to students through the Alva Recreation Complex work project from May through December 2006 totaled $861.99, and expenses for recruiting via the Freshman Connection class totaled $1,577.27. In thanking the council for their support Dr. Cunningham said, I promise to keep this short. My driver told me thats a requirement.
