Ansal Institute of Technology organised Alumni reunion
Alumni reunion at AIT A large number of alumni of the Ansal Institute of Technology, Gurgaon attended their first ever reunion organised at its campus recently. Professor M.P. Singh, Director, AIT, informed all present that during the last four years, over 240 students from the institute have been accepted by the reputed and accredited US universities while 40 other students have gone to Australia and Canada. All the eligible students have gone on scholarships and as sistantships to complete the overseas degree programmes. Ansal Institute alumni in the US have won more than 30 President’s and 40 Dean’s honour awards for their excellent academic performance.
US-based John Deere Foundation has awarded scholarships worth US$1,000 each to ten students of AIT recently. Professor Sudhir Mehta, Associate Vice President, North 1 Dakota State University, USA, presented the scholarships to the students on the basis of their excellence in academics.
