Columbia Business School Partners with IIM-A for Exchange Program to Shape Global Business Leaders
Columbia Business School, a premier U.S. institution of graduate-level business studies, and the Indian Institute of Management - Ahmedabad (IIM-A), today announced a partnership that will initially focus on student exchange programs. This partnership is another step toward Columbia Business Schools goal of deepening its relationship with India.
Columbia Business School and IIM-A will design and host an international study program for students of both institutions. This partnership will go beyond the academic experience by providing practical, first-hand knowledge of global business through executive presentations and field visits to top businesses both in India and the U.S.
The partnership between Columbia Business School and IIM - Ahmedabad reflects our mutual interest in entrepreneurship, a shared world view and a joint quest for innovation in a rapidly changing world, said R. Glenn Hubbard, Dean and Russell L. Carson Professor of Finance and Economics at Columbia Business School. Top business schools create leaders who will play integral roles in the business world of tomorrow, leaders who can assimilate data quickly and understand and manage risk, and above all, recognize and capture opportunity.
