Butler on UGA offer Just speechless
On a steel-gray, cold Sunday morning, a ray of sunlight peered through the thick clouds on Drew Butler, the son of Bulldogs kicking great Kevin Butler, when Georgia extended a scholarship offer.
Butler, who already had an offer from Duke and was considering a preferred walk-on opportunity at Georgia, was floored when he heard the news while on an official visit.
Coach [Mark] Richt broke the news to me Sunday morning, Butler told the AJC. I was absolutely thrilled. I was just speechless.
