Asian students at UNC stage benefit to raise funds for scholarship
Getting students interested in pursuing college is one thing, but getting them to stay there is another.
The solution – offer to help them pay for college.
At least thats the motto of the Asian/Pacific American Student Services center at the University of Northern Colorado.
For the last three years members of APASS have hosted their Prosperity Scholarship Benefit in hopes of developing the first scholarship targeted toward Asian and Pacific American students all ready enrolled at UNC. On Saturday, the benefit was a sell-out with 127 tickets sold.
