Baptist School of Health Professions secures scholarship grant
The Baptist Health Foundation of San Antonio is donating $156,710 toward the Baptist Health System School of Health Professions for health care scholarships.
The money will support 130 semester scholarships to students working toward degrees in nursing and allied health.
Baptist Health Foundation President and CEO W. Frank Elston says trustees decided to release these funds in order to help alleviate the shortage of nurses and caregivers in the San Antonio area.
