A revolution in teaching which gives more power to pupils is needed if the British governments

A revolution in teaching which gives more power to pupils is needed if the British governments agenda of personalised learning is to succeed, according to a recent report in the UK.Pupils need freedom to choose their curriculum, the ways they are assessed and even their own teachers, said David Hargreaves, former chief executive of the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority, and who has worked on the report. He has now designed a strategy that gives pupils greater control over their education. It has even been distributed to schools in a series of pamphlets.
