Indira Gandhi National Open University has decided to reinitiate the Rajiv Gandhi Fellowship to students

FUTURE PLANS
Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has decided to reinitiate the Rajiv Gandhi Fellowship (RGF) to students. The Commonwealth of Learning (COL) may be requested to offer more fellowship for offering Master of Arts in Distance Education programme under the COL-RGF scheme, said V N Rajasekharan Pillai, vice-chancellor, IGNOU. The university has also proposed to revise and launch the Commonwealth Executive Master of Business Administration (CEMBA) and Commonwealth Executive Master of Public Administration {CEMPA) programme. IGNOU is also contemplating the set up of an Indo-Australian Studies Resource and Research Centre to facilitate the interdisciplinary studies. A one-year PG Diploma in Australian Studies is under development. This was declared at a two-day seminar organised last week in collaboration with the Australia India Council (AIC).
