JAPAN SCHOLARSHIP
International University of Japan (IUJ), Niigata, Japan, is a fully accredited Japanese private university under the ministry of education, now called the ministry of education, culture, sports science and technology. Category A scholarships, are for courses at Graduate School of International Relations (GSIR) and Graduate School of International Management (GSIM). IUJ recommends candidates to scholarship providers from a pool of successful applicants at the time of admission.
Requirements: Non japanese IUJ applicants who do not have sufficient funds can apply. They need to submit an application for scholarships available for to IUJ, along with the complete application for admission. Asian Development Bank (ADB) scholarship applicants are expected to have at least two years of work experience in the public or private sector and must agree to return to their country after completion of their studies. Matsushita International Foundation (MIF) scholars are required to take Japanese language courses at IUJ,appropriate to their level, for a minimum of three terms before graduation. Candidates for the Mitsubishi Trust Yamamuro Memorial Scholarship Foundation (MTYM) shall aim to become engaged in business or study of science as a lifetime pursuit
Submission: February 23, 2007 for GSIR programmes; March 30, 2007 for GSIM programmes.
