Singapore Undergraduate Scholarship
This scholarship covers tuition fees and all compulsory fees, a one off settling in allowance of S$200, accommodation allowance and an annual living allowance of S$6,000. It is tenable for studies in the School of Computing, Faculty of engineering and the faculty of science, excluding pharmacy, for a minimum period of candidature for the respective undergraduate course at National University of Singapore (NUS). It includes oneway air passage from home country to Singapore at the beginning of the course of study, and oneway air passage from Singapore to home country at the end of the course of study. Scholars are required to serve a six-year bond with the sponsoring company, its subsidiaries or other approved Singapore registered companies.
Requirements: Indian class XII, central and state boards, with at least five subjects including English language at the class XII examination. Those taking the Indian class XII examination in 2007 must submit their most recent school examination results by the application closing date. When the actual Indian class XII results are available, the results slip should be faxed to the office of admissions at (65) 6778 7570, quoting full name and application number on each document.
To apply: Apply online for NUS through using the international application form. No separate scholarship application is required for the scholarship. Candidates will be considered and shortlisted for interviews through their application for admission to the NUS.
Submission: February 28, 2007. Actual class XII results must reach by June 2, 2007.
