Clark County students given first priority for new scholarship

Clark County students who plan to major in Christian studies or a related field will soon be given the opportunity to apply for a new Ouachita Baptist University scholarship.

Mr. Doyle Lumpkin of San Angelo, Texas, recently established the Doyle and Marie Hardwick Lumpkin Endowed Scholarship Fund. The fund is intended to provide scholarship assistance to full-time Ouachita students.

Recipients of the scholarship must be pursuing a major that reflects a vocational desire for Christian ministry, and students from Clark County will have first priority for the award.
