Deadline nears for lottery scholarship nominations
The deadline for high school administrators to nominate students for a $4,000 scholarship is almost here.
The New York Lotterys Leaders of Tomorrow scholarships can be awarded to one graduating senior from every high school in the state.
Each school may nominate two students for the scholarship; one will be awarded at $1,000 each year for four years. The students must have at least a B average, be active in their community and plan to attend a New York-accredited college or trade school.
