Dibrugarh University has entered into a co-operative relationship with Vikalp trust, New Delhi, AAT (I) Ltd, Times School of Media Studies of the Times of India group, Digidesign Inc. Sound engineering, graphics and animation, digital film-making and games design and development will be started at the University campus through this outsourced arrangement. In the course of 2007-08 the University centre will also start offering diploma and degree courses. The University has 104 affiliated colleges and will be catering to students from the Northeast who must otherwise travel to other parts of the country for such training.
