Sports at GGSIPU
GGSIPU, Kashmere Gate organised its First Athletics Meet & Basketball Championship at the University Grounds from March 8 to 11, 2007. V K. Jain, Registrar, GGSIPU, Prof. Yogesh Singh, Controller of Examination and Vandana Gupta, Controller of Finance, were among the other dignitaries present at the meet. The four-day sports event included 100 meters race, 200 meters race, 400 meters race, relay race, long jump, shot put, discus throw, javelin throw, triple jump and Basketball match, among others.
