DCWD opens scholarship program for 2007-08

THE Davao City Water District scholarship program for school year 2007-08 is now open to applicants who wish to enroll at the University of Southeastern Philippines, Obrero and Mintal campuses. The program has two categories — non-tribal and tribal.

For non-tribal, would-be high school graduates this year are invited to apply for this program provided they will meet the following requirements set by the screening committee: 1) must be between 15-21 years old, male or female; 2) must be fresh high school graduate; 4) must have an average of at least 85% and who belong to the top 20% of their class; 5) must have a CSAT raw score of at least 570; 6) parents must have an annual income of not more than P80,000 (based on Income Tax Return); and 7) all applicants mush comply with USP qualifying requirements.

The scholarship program for non-tribal covers degree and non-degree courses at the University of Southeastern Philippines, Obrero Campus.
