New Trustee Scholarship supports students in College of Ag Sciences

New Trustee Scholarship supports students in College of Ag Sciences

Students in Penn States College of Agricultural Sciences will benefit from a new scholarship created by Nancy Nichol Myers and her husband, Craig B. Myers, of Doylestown. The couple has committed $50,000 to endow the William C. Nichol Trustee Scholarship, which will assist students who have financial need.

The scholarship honors Nancys father, William Bill Nichol, a 1952 Penn State graduate in agricultural economics and executive director emeritus of the Pennsylvania Holstein Association.

Growing up as one of nine children on an Indiana County dairy farm, I understand the need for assistance to attend college, said Bill Nichol. I am so pleased that this opportunity will be available to students in the College of Agricultural Sciences.
