Scholarship is music to flautist Aimees ears

Preston youngster Aimee Bilsborrow has a hat-trick of reasons to blow her own trumpet.

For the talented musician has become the first pupil from her school to receive a music scholarship from a top public school and the only scholar to get the award this year.

The 10-year-old, who attends St Pius X Preparatory School in Fulwood, has been awarded a music scholarship by Stonyhurst College.
