South Johnstons Sarah Core Awarded Morehead-Cain Scholarship

Sarah Core, a senior at South Johnston High School, has been awarded the Morehead-Cain Scholarship to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. The prestigious scholarship covers the full cost of attendance and even provides a laptop and spending stipend each semester.
To be eligible for the Morehead-Cain, a candidate must show evidence of outstanding achievement in the following four criteria: leadership, scholarship, moral force of character and physical vigor.
