Dover student tops essay contest: Takes $10,000 scholarship prize in competition
Courtney K. Keitel, a Dover High School senior, was honored Thursday for winning first place in the seventh annual Legislative Essay Scholarship Contest.
She received a $10,000 scholarship for her essay on this years theme The Declaration of Independence states that all men are created equal. How true was this concept then and is it true today?
Second place went to Brandywine Highs Joshua A. Marks, who received a $7,500 scholarship.
