Heckuva ride - Downtown skate shop owner wins major scholarship

When Menomonie High School senior Henry Schwartz called his mother and told her about the scholarship, she began to scream.

Im sure the people in the next (motel) room thought she was getting beat up or something, said Schwartz, the owner of the Board to Death skate shop at 111 Main St.

Schwartzs mother, Connie Ross, was in Hawaii at the time for her job with Holiday Vacations.
