INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE
An international conference on Brand India and Global Business Initiatives was organised at SCOPE Convention Centre, New Delhi by the University School of Management Studies, GGSIP University and Jagannath International Management School (JIMS) Vasant Kunj, New Delhi.
Inaugurating the conference, Charanjit Chanana, former minister of industries, spoke of the building up of brand India not just in the post-liberalised phase of the economy but also in the pre-liberalised one. Among others who spoke on the occasion were, Michael Carter, trade commissioner, Australian High commission and Ajay Sahai, director general. Federation of Indian Exporters Organisation.
Others present on the occasion included Parag Dewan, vice-chancellor. University of Petroleum and Energy Studies and Nancy Nix, director, Supply-Value Chain Centre,Texas Christian University, USA.
