Oxbridge scholarships
The Oxford and Cambridge Society of India (OCSI) is offering three scholarships for admission to Oxbridge this year. Of these, two OCSI scholarships worth Rs 1,00,000 each are tenable at the universities of Oxford/Cambridge; one scholarship worth £ 1000 is tenable at Emmanuel College, Cambridge wherein the scholarships to Emmanuel College are funded by the Emmanuel College Cambridge (India) Trust. In addition to the above scholarships, certain addition a funds are also available from specific partners of OCSls scholarship scheme. These additional funds are strictly on a means-based criterion.
Requirements: All applicants must have secured admission to the University of Oxford or the University of Cambridge. Applicants must also be Indians, not more than 26 years old as on May 1, 2007, graduates of an Indian university, normally resident in India with the clear intention to return to India after completing the course of study at Oxbridge. Preferably late schooling should have been done in India. Shortlisted candidates shall be interviewed on May 26, 2007 between 9 am to 5 pm, at the India International Centre Annexe, Max Muller Marg, New Delhi-110003.
