THS soccer standout heading to Spain with scholarship
Turlock High soccer standout, Alexis Cuellar, will be delaying her college soccer plans to study in Spain next fall. The senior won a scholarship to attend a fifth year of high school in Spain through the Youth for Understanding program.
Ive always wanted to travel and heres my chance, Cuellar said.
Cuellar, who had plans to workout with the San Francisco State soccer team this summer, is not giving up her collegiate athletic career, just postponing it for a year.
