Wigan and Leigh College-India, has started a new course in Politics and Social work. The two-year course will cover topics such as issue in Indian politics, leadership, power and advocacy, India’s defence and foreign policy, human rights etc. Those holding a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline are eligible to apply. Career opportunities for students who complete this course include work with leading non-governmental organisations, politicians, social leaders, political parties etc. They may even join political journalism and the electronic media.
