Singapore-based Global Indian Education Foundation announced its collaboration with Kakubhai Parikh School, Gandhidham, to upgrade it to international standards. The move results in the Central Board of Secondary Education-affiliated school being converted into GIIS (Global Indian International School) Gandhidham, the second Indian school to join the league after one in Pune. The school plans to provide hostel facility while foundation intends to give scholarships to students.
