New scholarship created in name of board membe

Penticton lost one of its most ardent supporters of public education with the passing of school board trustee Pennie Jamieson.

Jamieson died from leukemia last week at the age of 78.

For over two decades she served on the area school board and was first elected as a Penticton trustee in 1985.
