Robb W. Bender, 10625 S. Cleveland Road, Cleveland, is the recipient of the 2007 Manitowoc County Farm Progress Days Donald R. Peterson Scholarship.
The $1,000 scholarship is awarded to a graduating high school senior from Manitowoc County who is planning to attend the University of Wisconsin-Madison, University of Wisconsin-Platteville, University of Wisconsin-River Falls or University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point to pursue a career in the agricultural life sciences or the natural resources area.
Bender has been accepted at UW-Madison and plans to major in dairy science (veterinary medicine).
