Dates For Cet Announced
The Common Entrance Test (CET) of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) for the 2007-08 academic session woukf commence from May 7. The University would conduct 20 CETs this year, for making admission to its 35 programmes at undergraduate and postgraduate level. The CET-2007 will be spread over duration of two weeks, with the first exarh starting on May 7 for BSc (honours) nursing and the $ last one on May 20 for B Tech and M Tech (dual degree) biotechnology. Over 1.25 lakh applicants are likely to compete for around 11,500 seats, offered by GGSIPU, through CET-2007. For the first time the CET for four programmes MBA, MBBS, B Tech and MCA will be held in eight cities including Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Chandigarh, Jaipur, Kolkata, Lucknow and Bhopal. Earlier, only the CET of MBBS programme was conducted outside Delhi. For rest of the courses, the CET will be held only in Delhi.
