Assam Cm Visits Amity
A delegation led by Tarun Gogoi, chief minister of Assam, visited Amity University Campus, Noida. The visit was aimed to identify mutually beneficial partnership opportunities and capacity building in the development of Assam in the field of education. Addressing the Amity directors and faculty Gogoi said: Education is the biggest service to the individual, to the nation and to humanity in the whole world which aims towards success, achievement of goals and fulfilment of mission to lead a happy and contended life. The strong foundation is none other than good education. In to days see- nario specially referring to Assam, there is a need to inculcate students with best of creative and technical qualifications, along with indispensable human qualities. There is a great need to introduce specialised courses such as insurance, psychology, management, communication, law, biotechnology, study of medicinal plants, telecom, behavioural sciences and IT.
