On May 21 at the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth, leading strategy Professor Vijay VG Govindarajan will debut a virtual learning series with three groups of high-potential Citibank India managers located in Chennai, Delhi, and Mumbai. The session will mark the start of a new global distance learning initiative being launched by the Ivy League business school to its executive education clients.
The session will focus on the research behind VGs popular Ten Rules for Strategic Innovators and will be followed in July and August by similar sessions with Tuck strategy professors Richard DAveni, author of Hypercompetition, and Sydney Finkelstein, author of Why Smart Executives Fail and the brand-new Breakout Strategy.
Were excited to bring the engaged, interactive teaching that Tuck is known for to executives half-way around the world by leveraging the power of technology, said Anant Sundaram, faculty director of Tuck Executive Education at Dartmouth, who worked with a team at Tuck and Citibank India to construct the course. This series with Citibank India will be a model for us as we begin to work with other companies in India and around the world to provide a stimulating and convenient on-site learning environment that represents the best in business education.
