Amity World Women Forum (AWWF) recently organised a one-day consultative workshop on Gender Sensitisation: Future Scenario at its Noida campus. Kiran Bedi, director general. Bureau of Police Research and Development, inaugurated the event. The panel discussion featured eminent personalities such as Meera Ramachandran, principal - Gargi College, Ravi Nehru, head of department (neurology) - GB Pant Hospital, and Anita Kant, professor - Vivekanand College among others. Several issues such as the best practices in gender policies in organisations, provision of equal opportunity to men and women in all spheres of life, the importance of family-friendly work policies, flexible work arrangements, and so on were discussed at the workshop.
