Newcastle Indian scholarship
Newcastle Law School offers the following one-year taught Masters Programmes -LLM in environmental law and policy, LLM in international commercial law, LLM in international legal studies and LLM in international trade law. As a part of the universitys international programme of activities, the Newcastle Law School is running an essay writing competition to provide young, outstanding lawyers with the opportunity to pursue studies on one of the universitys taught LLM programmes mentioned above. It is looking to offer one scholarship of up to 50% of the tuition fees and two scholarships of up to £3000 reduction in fees.
Requirements: Candidates must have a law degree from a recognised Indian University or expect to obtain one by September 2007. In addition, candidates will need to achieve a minimum IELTS score of 7.0 for admission to the university. The prizes will be awarded to the students who produce the highest quality essays displaying a degree of legal acumen and who meet the entry requirements for the universitys LLM programmes.
