Indio High School student Sabrina Valdez is one of seven Coachella Valley high school seniors being awarded a special Civics Achievement Scholarship by the Walter Clark Legal Group.
The awards are given in recognition of the students’ demonstrated interest in pursuing public and community service careers.
Each student will receive a $1,000 scholarship.
