May 19-07 : Three day National Workshop…

Three day National workshop on Self Learning Material was organized by Distance Learning Center, AMU. Addressing the participants in the workshop Prof. S S Hassan, Vice Chancellor of Uttaranchal Open University said that India is much behind the time in higher education and distance learning has to play a vital role in filling this gap.

In his presidential address Prof. M Saleemuddin VC, AMU said that in this age of universalisation the technology is playing an important role in education. He hoped that this workshop will definitely new information and thoughts for the development of other modes of education beside traditional one. Before this Prof. Imtiyaz Hassan, Director of the Center welcomed the guests and briefly gave the introduction about the activities of the Center.
