Online courses gain popularity among students

The number of undergraduate students enrolled in Oklahoma State Online Distance Learning courses increased about 60 percent from the 2005-06 to the 2006-07 school year, said the program coordinator of the William S. Spears School of Business.

We noticed a jump in popularity when we advertised the undergrad business minor courses, coordinator Shona Gambrell said.

Gambrell said undergraduate students may now pursue a minor in business or work on required classes for majoring in a business degree online.
