Tabatha Ann Carlton, 2007 Red Bluff Union high school graduate, has been awarded the $2,000 Dorothy Minch nursing education scholarship. It is funded by the Minch family.
Dorothy Minch, a longtime registered nurse in Tehama County, was a charter member of Red Bluff Emblem Club No. 408. She served in many offices including president and state trustee.
For about 30 years, she was also a volunteer nurse for the Red Bluff Community blood drives.
