AMU asks for-a special grant
P.K. Abdul Aziz, Vice Chancellor of Aligarh Muslim University, has asked for a special grant from the University Grants Commission to undertake a massive revival programme which will include restoration of its historic building, modernisation of the infrastructure and upgradation of the ICT facilities on campus. According to a press release from the university, the Chairman of the UGC was favourably disposed to his request and has asked him to submit a detailed proposal.
