Everonn Systems India is an integrated knowledge management, education and training company, which offers services that include creating educational and training content, designing and setting up infrastructure for learning (virtual and interactive) and training. The company now taps the capital market with an offering of around 1,38,49,645 shares at the higher end of the price band.
Of around Rs 50 crore to be raised, it plans to spend Rs 30 crore on institutional education and IT infrastructure services. On its virtual and interactive learning, it plans to spend Rs 17.25 crore and for mergers and acquisitions it has earmarked Rs 8 crore.
Technology-enabled learning solutions, which focus on providing specialised content through interactive remote delivery mechanisms, caters to a wide ranging clients. And considering the easy availability of technology and time-saving method used in imparting education in a virtual classroom (which are live and interactive), the segment to which this education caters to - mostly working professionals corporates and college- and school-goers- has become sizeable. Also, the company with its presence in 101 colleges, 83 schools and 13 retail centres across eight states stands a good chance to tap into the segment mentioned above. The companys tie-up with Hughes Communications India, through Hughes Net Global Education Services, offers management courses affiliated with several premier management universities and institutions. Cases in the point being institutes like NMIMS, XLRI and IIM Kolkata, Bangalore and Kozhikode. And here the company scores an edge.
