For the first time, the admission process in all undergraduate and post-graduate courses of Patna University (PU) has been completed in a record time of one month. Admission process for the current academic session (2007-08) concluded on Tuesday.
Even if few seats in various courses remain vacant, the deadline for closure of admission would not be extended, said PU dean of students welfare Ejaz Ali Arshad. Entire process would have concluded on Monday itself, but for the closure of the university following former PM Chandrashekhars death.
Classes of all the regular courses have started but admission to some of the vocational and self-financing courses is yet to be completed.
