REFINING techniques to better treat heart patients is taking Pakuranga student Kieran OBrien across the globe.
The Auckland University Bioengineering Institute student is set to take his knowledge of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) to Oxford University with the help of an $11,000 scholarship.
The William Georgetti Scholarship recently presented to Mr OBrien allows him to further develop work hes done towards a PhD studying aortic stenosis – narrowing of the aortic valve.
