The Indian Institute of Technology-Mumbai, as part of golden jubilee national outreach programme has announced launch of new academic initiatives for its under-graduate (UG), post-graduate (PG) and Ph.D programs.
The new academic initiatives include innovative and flexible curricula for UG and Ph.D. students, new PG/Ph.D. programs in six fields, greater international exposure to Ph.D. students and increased industry interaction via enhanced research fellowships, IIT Mumbai, co-convener, golden jubilee committee, Prof U B Desai told reporters today.
The IIT (Mumbai) Director Ashok Misra, speaking on the said, IIT-Mumbais golden jubilee year is a landmark occasion to celebrate our heritage and embark on new academic initiatives that will aid our students, faculty and the institution to be a fountainhead of new ideas and innovation.
