Film Fellowships
The Public Service Broadcasting Trust (PSBT) has invited proposals for up to 10 film fellowships, on any subject or theme that best represents the filmmakers’ personal passion and concerns. Short listed candidates will be invited to pitch their proposals directly to the PSBT trustees, who include Adoor Gopalakrishnan, Shyam Benegal, Kiran Karnik, Sharmila Tagore and B S Lalli, CEO, Prasar Bharati. Only filmmakers of outstanding talent, with exceptional, considered proposals and well argued budgets are encouraged to apply before July 23, 3007, presenting budget for either a 28 or 56-minute version or both.The film fellowships intend to further encourage and support excellence in independent filmmaking by filmmakers in India.
