Standards for teachers, will help determine teachers’ progress up the pay scale

Teacher Standards
According to the Times Education Supplement, UK, newly published professional standards for teachers, will help determine teachers’ progress up the pay scale. Graham Holley, chief executive of the Training and Development Agency for Schools, said that the standards would help teachers make the most of their abilities and schools make the most of their staff.
