Environment Week
The Indian School recently celebrated its ‘Environment Week’. The programmes for the week begun with the inauguration by Sonai Mansingh and her subsequent address on ‘Environment: A new perspective’. This was followed by a short play and recitations of student compositions on the need for sustainable and eco-friendly development. Primary school children participated in face drawing, painting, poster making and other campaigns, that addressed a variety of themes on saving the earth’s environment from detrimental effects.
