Arena Animation students Nikhil Saini and Shraddha Pimputkar have made their mark in the animation industry by winning the 2007 TASI-Adlabs Design contest.. Adlabs and the Animation Society of India (TASI) came together to present Anifest India 2007, a design contest to provide a real world experience to students and encourage new talent. The contestants were given definite instructions about the characters and were asked to develop the same within the specific time frame of a week using their creative imaginations. Commending the students, R Krishnan, Global Head, Arena Animation, said, It is our endeavour at Arena Animation to ensure that our students are trained to meet the demands of the industry Shraddha and Nikhils winning this competition vindicates the fact that our students are prepared to take on the challenges of the workplace.
