UWE Pre Departure
The University of the West of England (UWE) recently organised a pre-departure event in the city. It is ranked as UKs 5th largest university. It is also known for its MBA programme, which is one of only 136 schools worldwide to be accredited by the Association of MBAs.
Kelly Robinson, a representative from the university, told students about security procedures at Heathrow airport to setting up bank accounts to accommodation. The event also gave parents an opportunity to help each other out. One parent spoke of NRI student accounts that allow parents to deposit money in India to be withdrawn by their children abroad. Prem N Kapur Associates, educational consultants, who also handled the application procedures for the students, supported the event.
