Kuala Belait - Her love for Astro-Physics inspired Charlene Bong Yin Siet to purse a degree in Physics at one of the world’s most prestigious universities, Stanford University in California.
The 18-year-old student who has `A’ levels in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics is the first student in Brunei Darussalam to be given the opportunity to study in the United States by Brunei Shell Petroleum Company Sdn Bhd (BSP).
She received two scholarship offers from BSP and the Ministry of Defence.
