Mexican Government Scholarship-2008
The government of Mexico offers four scholarships for Indian nationals for the year 2008 for studies at a Mexican University or any institution of higher education, postgraduate and PhD, in Mexico in the subject fields electronics and communication, architecture, psychology, economics, management studies, biotechnology, environment science, history and geography. Scholarship would include enrollment fees and tuition, monthly stipend for living expenses, full coverage medical insurance from the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS), effective as of the third month of the scholarship, as long as scholarship recipients comply with the delivery of the documentation requested in due time and form in order to processed with their admission to the IMSS system. At the beginning of the scholarship, transportation from Mexico City to the city of the academic institution where the recipient is to study, and transportation from there back to Mexico City upon termination of the scholarship. International airfare from India to Mexico would be borne by the candidate. The return airfare would be borne by the Mexico Government.
Requirements: Since, the medium of instruction would be Spanish Language, it would be mandatory for all applicants to speak Spanish at the time of submitting their applications. Age below 26 years for Masters and below 30 years for PhD as on September 17, 2007. Bachelors degree or equivalent with minimum 65% marks in relevant subject for postgraduate studies. The candidate should have post-graduate degree with minimum 65% marks in relevant subject for PhD.
